Oedipus, My Foot (2011)

performer

The Oedipus myth - which kills your father and marries your mother - is one of the most prevalent stories in our Western culture. Oedipus suffers from the desire to blame and punish himself, and this oppressive habit of self-condemnation feeds the whole of society. This play thinks Oedipus as one who takes his fate in his hands and creates infinite possibilities for his destiny.
